The Challenge: Launching a Global Streaming Asset
In January 2016, I initiated the SEO roadmap for a new domain in the highly competitive streaming sector. The goal was to build a global platform catering to five distinct language markets: Arabic, English, Persian, Italian, and Spanish. Starting with zero authority and no existing traffic, the project required a sophisticated approach to International SEO, technical infrastructure, and localized content delivery.
Over 72 months, I led the technical and creative SEO efforts to transform this domain into a high-authority platform with an Alexa Rank of 68,000, driven almost exclusively by organic search volume.

- Annual Session Growth: Increased by 187.84% to a total of 3,910,749 sessions.
3. Month-over-Month (MoM) Growth (Final Period 2022)
Data reveals a strong positive trend in new users and sessions for the platform during the final phase of the project in March 2022. During this one month period, the website achieved the following:
- User Increase: A 24.53% increase in total users, reaching 251,767 within the month.
- New User Growth: An 18.31% increase in new users compared to the previous 30 day period.
- Session Momentum: Consistent growth in sessions by 15.09%, confirming that the SEO strategy was still gaining traction at the time of project completion.
International SEO Strategy: Managing 5 Languages
A primary driver of this project's success was the implementation of a robust international SEO framework. Managing content for five different languages required precise technical and cultural execution.
1. Hreflang Implementation and Localization
To ensure Google served the correct language version to the correct audience, I managed complex hreflang tag deployments for Arabic, English, Persian, Italian, and Spanish. This prevented duplicate content issues across different regional versions of the streaming content.
2. Right-to-Left (RTL) Technical Optimization
For the Arabic and Persian versions of the site, I oversaw specific technical SEO requirements for RTL layouts. This ensured that user engagement metrics (like the 3:02 average session duration) remained consistent regardless of the language or script direction.
3. Content Strategy for Streaming
Content was optimized for search intent related to streaming media. This involved targeting high-volume keywords in each language, ensuring that the platform captured local search trends in the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.
Google Search Console: Visibility Analysis
By the project's conclusion in March 2022, the site reached massive visibility in Google Search results:

- Average Organic CTR: 12.4% (indicative of highly optimized title tags and snippets).

The Roadmap: Phases of Growth
Phase 1: Domain Foundation (2016 to 2017)
Focused on site architecture and establishing the multi-language subfolder structure. Initial efforts were centered on core "seed" keywords and building the initial domain authority required for the streaming niche.
Phase 2: Scaling and Technical Remediation (2018 to 2020)
As the database of streaming content grew into the thousands, I focused on managing technical debt. This included resolving 404 errors, fixing broken internal links, and optimizing the crawl budget to ensure search engines could index new content in all five languages efficiently.
Phase 3: Market Dominance (2021 to 2022)
During the final phase, I implemented advanced Schema Markup and focused on Core Web Vitals. This resulted in the final 24.53% month-over-month user increase and 18.31% increase in new users seen in the final reporting period of March 2022.
Project Conclusion and Results
This 6-year journey illustrates the power of a comprehensive, multi-language SEO strategy. By combining technical excellence with localized content expertise, I transformed a new domain into a global streaming authority. The platform achieved its primary KPIs: millions of impressions, high user retention, and a top-tier Alexa Rank. The project concluded in April 2022 with the website at its peak performance level, maintaining an 87% organic traffic share.
